Higsa is currently in pre-launch, running a waitlist ahead of our beta. This policy covers what we collect today. It will be replaced by a more detailed policy — reviewed by a lawyer — once the product itself launches and starts handling account and project data.

1. Who we are

Higsa ("Higsa," "we," "us") is an early-stage project founded by Abdimalik Dek Gadhaye. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website, including our waitlist signup form.

2. Information we collect

At this stage, we collect only what you give us directly:

Email address — when you join the waitlist.
Basic technical data — such as browser type and general location (country/region), if we add analytics to measure site traffic. We are not currently running analytics on this site.

We do not collect passwords, payment details, or project data at this stage, since the product itself has not launched yet.

3. How we use your information

We use your email address to:

Notify you when Higsa opens for beta access.
Send occasional updates about product progress, if you don't opt out.
Ask for feedback to help shape the product before launch.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We may use a third-party service (such as a form or email provider) to collect and store waitlist signups. These providers only process your data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed (for example, once beta invitations are complete).

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete your information from our waitlist.

7. Cookies

This site does not currently set tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes — for example, if we add analytics — we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

8. Children's privacy

Higsa is intended for students and professional engineers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

As Higsa moves from waitlist to product, this policy will be updated to reflect account data, integrations (like GitHub), and AI processing. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date.
